We are excited to announce that we are now accepting nominations for AIA Chesapeake Bay’s 2026 Board of Directors! This is a wonderful opportunity for our members to step up and help guide the future of our Chapter. The 2026 Board of Directors will be elected at our Annual Meeting/Holiday Social on December 4th at the new Annapolis showroom of Atlantic Control Technologies (details to follow).

The Board plays a crucial role in shaping our vision and strategic direction, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about our mission. If you or someone you know would be a great fit, we encourage you to submit a nomination.

Key Information:

Eligibility: All members of AIA Chesapeake Bay in good standing are eligible to be nominated to serve. Any members that are licensed architects are eligible to be President-Elect/President.

Nomination Process: Please fill out the Candidate Information Form and email it to the Chapter office: [email protected].

Deadline: Deadline to submit Candidate Application Form is November 26, 2025 by 5:00 PM.

Open Board Positions:

We are looking for candidates to fill the following positions:

  • Architect (at-large) Directors (Assoc AIA are eligible for this position as well)
Additionally, we are accepting additional nominations for:
  • President
  • President Elect / Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Emerging Professionals Director
  • Allied Member Directors

 We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring diverse perspectives and skills to our Board. If you have any questions or would like more information about the responsibilities of an AIA Chesapeake Bay Board member, please do not hesitate to reach out.
